Update #162 - Post launch Kickstarter update
over 7 years ago
– Sat, Nov 17, 2018 at 12:43:22 AM
Hi everyone,
It’s been a while since we posted a Kickstarter update, but we certainly did not forget about you. We have been very busy supporting the launch, the players and releasing patches. Our last weekly journal was just before the launch of the game in August and with the arrival of upcoming DLCs we will soon start again!
We hope you have been enjoying the game.
We have been reviewing all the feedback since launch, and the team has worked non stop to fix the major issues found and are still working on polishing the game. As of today, we have released 4 patches and are currently working on the next one - a bugfixing omnibus that will also introduce sandbox mode!
If you are still having issues with the game, feel free to email our support team at [email protected] and we will help you with your issue as soon as possible.
Kickstarter Rewards update
Back in 2017, along with the announcement that we were going to retail, as a thank you for helping us meet our funding goal, we promised you two additional free rewards: a copy of the game for the Tier 1 backers and the Season Pass for all of the backers above Tier 1.
These two rewards have now been distributed! Tier 1 backers, you can find your code in a personal email we sent you. Everybody else, you can find your Season Pass in your Backerkit profile! Here is how to access it:
Find digital downloads and expand and it will show a green claim button.
Digital Soundtrack and Art Book
The digital soundtrack has also been distributed, along with other digital goods such as wallpapers and ringtones. So if you backed the digital goods tier, you will find that code in the same section as the Season Pass by following the steps above.
Some of you chose the DRM-Free option for this reward. This code is a Steam code, however, it is a DRM-Free Steam code, which means it works for both those who wanted it on Steam and those who wanted it DRM-Free. To redeem it, follow these steps:
Install and log in to Steam. If you’re not familiar with Steam, it is a digital video game distribution platform and marketplace. If you have not installed Steam before, you will have to create an account.
Inside Steam, go to your “Games” menu at the top left of the screen, and choose “Activate a Product on Steam”. You will need to accept the Steam subscriber agreement to continue.
Click next, and enter the code.
The art book took a bit longer to produce than the soundtrack and we are glad to announce that the physical version will be released on November 27! Shortly after it releases, we will have access to download codes we will then distribute to you guys.
The Boxer Tier reward
Most of the elements of this reward are ready, and are just waiting for the art book to be published so we can add it to the box and ship them away to you!
Mac and Linux
Mac and Linux versions are still coming. The linux version is currently being tested internally. It it taking longer than anticipated due to the fact that we had to patch important issues in the main game. Fixing those issues were a necessity before working on Linux and Mac version of the game. But the good news is that the Mac and Linux versions will benefit from bug fixes, balance patches and optimization that we have worked on since launch. As soon as we have more concrete and interesting information about these versions, we will let you know.
DLC update
While the programmers have been working on releasing updates for the main game, the rest of the team has been working hard on sandbox mode and our Season Pass content, and we are really excited to start sharing some details with you all very soon. Stay tuned!
